Teen Dies After Being Hit By Train

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A teenage boy who was hit by a train Friday afternoon in Hueysville has died, the Floyd County Coroner tells WSAZ.
Willie Lee Salisbury, 14, was pronounced dead just before 6 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph - Martin Hospital.
Kentucky State Police say Salisbury had been walking on the tracks. They believe he had headphones in his ears and his head down looking at his phone.
"On foot it's that much more dangerous when you've got a distraction involved such as a cell phone," Trooper Bryan Layne said. ... Layne says the boy was facing the CSX train, but he didn't appear to see the train or acknowledge the train whistle.
