"Republicans . . . borrowed money from other countries to pay for two wars."

Just Republicans?

And this is the problem when a Democrat hedges closer to the center than the Left. It makes lines of attack against Republicans much weaker than they would otherwise be. If Secretary Clinton trots this line out in the general campaign, every Republican (and half the Democrats) within a hundred miles is going to respond, "For the wars you voted for."

I think she will be our nominee. I will vote for her in the general. But I think she's going to be much harder to back up in areas like foreign policy, where she out-hawked many Republicans.

It's going to be a long campaign.

And I want to be at least somewhat positive about her, because I think she's going to be it for us.

But a lot of this rhetoric seems entirely contingent on people suffering some kind of collective mass amnesia.

So . . . cringe.

Our trade deficit was $31 billion in 1991, $372 billion in 2000, and around $500 billion today.

Not defending her vote but we were told the war would only last weeks, maybe 3 months. Plus many other lies. She was the Senator from NY during 9/11 and she actually voted with the sentiment of NYers at that time.

And I by no means believe she did, then she isn't fit to be commander in chief.

I think the President should be somewhat brighter than the average internet commenter.

I don't think this line of defense really works in her favor. It paints her as unintelligent. I don't believe she is in the slightest.
