I KID! I'm so just screwing with ya.

In related news I heard that Jeb has already had 70 fundraisers (averaging 1 every other day). I'm curious how much money the two nominees will spend. $2 bil? $5 bil? $10 bil. Needless to say they'll both fill the air with commercials starting early next year.

(I wonder how many people will thrash me without even reading past the reply title)

5. And Occupy claims the loyalty of the entire "99%" without evidence

But I guess we'll know the truth when nobody show up, right?

BTW - can you point to a General Assembly that endorsed Bernie? Or was it a bunch of individuals who endorsed Bernie on Occupy's behalf? Just like I could claim Planned Parenthood has endorsed Hillary since I'm a member (actually, she can probably get the endorsement herself).

stealing that "99%".

Really? Or, were you referring to that very small portion of the "99%" that are both Bernie supporters AND a part of occupy?

Even the balcony seats (limited availability) are $45... I wonder how much of the "99%" can afford that?

99% of the population includes a huge number who can spend $45 on a political campaign. Either that or the number of 1%ers in NYC is massive, given the number I see on the shopping streets and at the movies.

11. I would wager that not even 5% of the population pay that much for political campaigns...

Now whether they can "afford" it is another question. Some people can make a point of paying that much money if they care about it, but just to attend one political speech? How many of those "limited availability" seats were there. I think the real entry fee was a baseline $100 that was for "general admission". It's ok to recognize that these are pricey, but to say that this speech was targeted at the 99% is a bit disingenous with that pricing.

13. and the same percentage probably applies to the 1%ers...

...Most people, of every income strata, don't get involved in politics. The issue is that, if they choose to, a $45/$100/$250 event with a candidate with a strong chance of being President is a great value for those who are interested.
