Trump blamed his failure in Atlantic City on.....with select comments from NJ.com

http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2015/06/donald_trump_a_one-time_nj_icon_runs_for_president.html#incart_river

excerpt:

But New Jersey beckoned in the early 1980s, when Trump began purchasing casinos in Atlantic City. Soon, he owned Trump Plaza, Trump Castle (later Trump Marina), and the Trump Taj Mahal.

Trump played a key role in lobbying for New Jersey to legalize sports betting in Atlantic City in the early 1990s — an effort that eventually failed.

But Trump Entertainment Resorts, the company that ran Trump's casinos, filed for bankruptcy three times, most recently last year. He no longer runs or controls the company, having left in the late 2000s amid bankruptcy proceedings.

"When I saw all the mistakes, a little bit like this country as a whole, when I saw the mistakes the politicians were making, I got out," Trump said in a recent interview about Atlantic City, which saw four casinos close in 2014, including Trump Plaza. "So maybe I was lucky. Atlantic City is truly, truly suffering right now and I feel badly."

>>>>The comments are fun...

I never thought I'd say this but I'd more likely vote for Hilary than this clown. And I really don't like Hilary.

I'm a little confused about Mr. Trump's statement in this paragraph:

"When I saw all the mistakes, a little bit like this country as a whole, when I saw the mistakes the politicians were making, I got out," Trump said in a recent interview about Atlantic City, which saw four casinos close in 2014, including Trump Plaza. "So maybe I was lucky. Atlantic City is truly, truly suffering right now and I feel badly."

Is he admitting he made some management mistakes, and then blaming it on politicians? Quite a convoluted paragraph.

If this is all we have, including most of the current candidates, then the Republican Party is in real trouble. When there are more than 10-15 serious contenders, the conclusion that me and others come to is that there's lots of infighting within the party. This may not be so, but the impressions is sure there.

And Hillary is sitting on the side laughing. Come on you guys, get your act together!

@wiseeagle I would have thought the first thing he would do is put a giant 'TRUMP' sign above the White House.

If this racist misogynist carnival barker is an example of who the GOP is willing to let join their club, then it's not difficult to see why every poll so far shows Hillary way out in front. Conservatives get angry at the mention of the "GOP clown car" of candidates, but then they come up with buffoons like this.

You can't even spell her name right. I mean, I'm a Bernie man myself, but c'mon!

and will vote for her if she wins but I misspell her name all the time. Odd, but I’ve never misspelled Sir Edmund Hillary’s name. Why is that?
