Charleston Post and Charleston Courier apologizes for gun ad on front page

The Charleston Post and Courier on Thursday apologized for a front-page sticky note that advertised for a gun shop.

“The front-page sticky note that was attached to some home delivery newspapers on the same day as this tragedy is a deeply regrettable coincidence,” the paper said in response to a reader complaint on Facebook. “We apologize to those who were offended.”

Here’s the note, which was affixed above a banner headline describing the recent shooting rampage in a Charleston church:

You can't get much more obnoxious than that non-apologetic apology(or negligence).

Bastards.
