Republican Justice who almost always stands with Scalia is very telling about the need for diversity in government, especially on the Supreme Court.

Republican Sandra Day O'Connor, for example, was doggedly consistent about a "health of the mother" exception. We now have women, African Americans and Hispanics represented on the Court, though Catholics are, IMO, overly represented. I hope to see an openly gay Justice soon.

I'm a white southerner.

You would think that every time they see it flying, it would be an embarrassment.

But it's some sort of false pride that should never be allowed on a government building.

We should also start renaming every one of the fucking US Army posts named after some traitorous southern general.

There was one named that in Panama but it may be closed now.

I'm sure all the racist trolls are setting up new email accounts by now.

I'd also like to see the state park named after Nathan Bedford Forrest on the list.

Edit: thank you for adding the link. It's perfect.

Sherman was a horrible man who spent his post-Civil War years overseeing Indian massacres in the West.

Before renaming it. Just to make sure there is not something like you pointed out.

I think he/she was just being funny as FT Benning is in GA.
