Raising a responsible child is hard these days. It is truly tragic that Dylann Storm Roof's parents

were not up to the task.

Lazy people who thought giving a gun to a drug addict racist would be a good birthday present.

could have made it a great deal harder. I don't believe we are powerless against gun violence. We have all the tools at our disposal, but I can understand an administration's hesitation to get the ball rolling. While many would hail that administration and the Congress that backed it as heroic, others would be wholly upset.
