Is the far left liberal media reporting on the TPP passage in the House?

I get that you guys don't like what I have to say, perhaps this long term poster says it better...

nadinbrzezinski:

not one word yet about the vote in the House... and TV has been on.

It is sad that small media can chew gum and walk at the same time, but major media can't and that is on purpose.

There was a time when we all could chew gum and walk.

You pointing this out is not one bit disrespectful either. (Thank you!)

--------------

I had a story on the POTUS statement, with quotes and all, and a story on the vote, with local consequences, and lord knows we might have more brush fires to boot. I might write a piece on the morning, but first need to do some background.

The fact that NATIONAL media cannot do that is quite telling.

---------------

I think the attack should be on the MSM

to be honest. If we had a responsible news media, hint, we don't, they would be able to cover BOTH stories in depth.

What pols do is take advantage of the disfunction.

--------------

And they still could have covered it

I did... and trust me, I do NOT have the staff of MSNBC... hell not even most of the local tv stations... It is NOT that tricky.

This is why I am wondering WHAT ELSE they do not want us to know. Hint, the US press is NOT. contrary to public opinion, that free either. I expect to see the criticism from FAIR as well. And it is very much deserved.

This is not tinfoil anymore. The Media, for corporate reasons, cannot do more than one story at a time, and they used to be able to do them, when they only had 1 hour of news, later half an hour.

After a day, it seems they could do a five minute story on it....

They're concubines of the plutocrats, and even if they did cover it, it would be done in a superficial "horse race" manner.

Democratic process in order to pass the TPP in the next couple of months or so.

Because the only way TPP can pass is if they have TPA. That's just how bad it is.

And if it was being reported properly & with the level of importance it deserves, everyone would know that.

9. Just curious, has it sunk in yet with you that the TPP wasn't passed? It was the TPA?

I realize you want to make the point that the truly important issues get buried, and especially if there is mass murder in the news. But you keep saying the TPP passed. That's incorrect.

It will in a couple of months thanks to TPA passing, but still, it didn't pass in the house yesterday.

10. Just an American watching the liberal media- what the fuck do I know since they aren't covering it

Which was my point....

If the distinction is so important to you....

Why aren't they convering the TPA then?

You really can't see that they are trying to confuse and coverup this assault on the American people?

11. No I agree with you. But you've been corrected & you keep saying the TPP passed anyways.

The TPP is a (shitty) "trade" deal.

The TPA is the vehicle first created by Richard Nixon in order to get (shitty) trade deals through Congress.

The good/fairer trade deals haven't needed TPA to get through congress. Only ones (that are shitty) like NAFTA.

But I agree 110%, our corporate media is failing US. Its a controlled narrative designed now to keep us misinformed or not informed at all.

There is a reason they are not discussing this, and now is going to be The Trial 24-7

Failure to see thing does not in fact, deny that thing's existence... it merely illustrates we are neither omnipotent nor absolute in our knowledge of what is or is not being reported. That, rather than "liberal media" may be the catalyst for your stated confusion.

If you actually look, you'll see TPP has been reported in various broadcast and print mediums over the past 24 hours.
