When is Hate Speech & Death Threat by this S.C. Presidential Candidate going to be taken seriously?

Senator Lindsey Graham: "you have to hate the pigeons" as he mock shoots clay pigeon named for Senator Bernie Sanders on MSNBC

When a Senator "Mock Kills" another Senator in a demonstration on MSNBC is this the kind of Hate Speech that motivates others to act out? What about the example it sets for Young People to see and hear him say: “I’m gonna get you motivated to want to kill the clay pigeon…” i.e. Bernie Sanders on a Major Cable.

Given what has just happened in South Carolina is Senator Lindsey Graham rethinking what he said? Should he be rethinking what he said? Or, is this just a "Good Ole Boy" having fun with a few other good old boys and an MSNBC correspondent. What about MSNBC's role in this? Is this acceptable behavior to put out for broadcast?

Just Asking...

Watch the MSNBC Snip Here: (Warning...MSNBC inserted a Minute Ad into this Snip...so just wait if you want to watch but you can read the Transcript of it in the Post.

Or, Transcript:

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) went on MSNBC to teach Kacie Hunt how to skeet shoot. Yeehaw!

Early in the segment, Graham talks about how he’s not a morning person with Hunt. The the cameras go back to the shooting range where Graham urges the skeet operator to do a “Bernie Sanders”:

GRAHAM: “I’m gonna get you motivated to want to kill the clay pigeon…”

GRAHAM: “Alright, do a Bernie Sanders.”

SKEET OPERATOR: “Alright.”

GRAHAM: “Pull!”

(Gunshot)

GRAHAM: “Sorry about that, Bernie!”

(Laughter)

How hilarious! Sen. Graham is running for President of the United States and is fake shooting his competition, because he’s the classiest guy in the race. Obviously.

Before Hunt stepped up to shoot some clay pigeons, Graham tells her she has to ‘hate the pigeons’. She shoots, she misses. The clip basically sucks and is just Graham sucking up to gun owners showing them how much he just loves the Second Amendment.

Graham says:

It’s about leading the pigeon. It’s about staying out in front enough, but not too much. That’s what politics is like.

Perhaps, Graham is fake shooting Sanders because Sanders absolutely eviscerated him on CNN’s Crossfire a couple years ago on the topic of Obamacare.

Ronnie Reagan took over the FCC abandoned that Practice. Some would say that was in the interest of "Free Speech" but it opened up a "Can of Worms" that now allows "Anything and Everything from anyone who has money to put a commercial out there that they can fund. So...this snip I gave got infested with an Advertisement....and many of us don't even have bandwidth to watch an ADVERTISEMENT coupled with a News Snip...especially on Mobile, Dial Up or DSL these days.

I realize that "Standards & Practices" seemed restricting for all the Corporate Interests to do clever, creative ads...but, to me, the "Trade Off" hurt the Consumer leading to where we are now where most News and even Entertainment Shows now have MORE ADS than Content.

a "news" network is going skeet shooting with a politician anyway? The word is that Andrew ( Andy) Lack is going to remake MSNBC to get more viewers. Just as CNN has gone closer to FOX News in format...it seems that MSNBC wants to join the crowd right in time for the Election 2016.

Watch Out because we will continue to have less and less REAL NEWS...and more "BABES WITH GUNS" going SHOOTIN' with Senator Lindsey Graham.. The possibilities are endless!

Graham should apologize for this STUNT...given what just happened in Charleston. But, even without that he was Threatening a fellow U.S. Senator and Candidate for President.......and that is just WRONG. He should be held accountable for Inciting Violence and Death and making a Joke out of it on Cable TV.

10. Why the media silence on Lindsey Graham’s vow to use the military to force vote in Congress?

By Bill Van Auken
world socialist web site, 14 March 2015

The protracted 2016 presidential campaign cycle has already begun, and with it the close attention of the media to the statements made by prospective candidates in hopes of discovering even the slightest “gaffe” that can be turned into a political news item.

All the more odd then that the remarks made at a New Hampshire town hall meeting by one Republican presidential hopeful, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, have been virtually blacked out by all of the major print and broadcast outlets.

Asked by a member of the audience what he would do about automatic cuts to the Pentagon budget that would go into effect because of sequestration, Graham responded that the problem had left him sick to his stomach.

He continued: “And here is the first thing I would do if I were President of the United States: I wouldn’t let Congress leave town until we fix this. I would literally use the military to keep them in if I had to. We’re not leaving town until we restore these defense cuts. We’re not leaving town until we restore the intel cuts.”

The statement is extraordinary. A candidate for the presidency of the United States vows that, once elected, he would use the military to impose his—and its—will upon a recalcitrant Congress. Presumably, troops would hold members of the House and Senate at gunpoint until they produced the results demanded.

Thanks for the heads-up, KoKo. Lindsey is GESTAPO.

of what we know Hate Speech and MSM Promotion of it is causing.

It's beyond me to understand why Lindsey Graham gets a pass here on DU...when he's Part of the Problem and is a Presidential Candidate running as a South Carolina Senator and we just had another example of what Hate Speech and MSM coordinated with the RW Fundamentalists Christians Powers and Silicon Valley, Gambling Interests, Wall Street and other Nefarious "Actors" (to use their terms) are doing to promote Hate and Violence here in America.

Our Weak Economy due to Bailing out Wall Street and all that has done to drain money out of our economy for Education, Infrastructure Jobs and a way for Young People Today to see a Future is breeding hate amongst us as we scrabble for the last bits of our social and financial structure to keep many people functioning and that's at a sub-par level.

Unrest, People in the Streets, Violence by "lost souls" or the "manipulated" by MSM Sources who feed the Violence and suggest the causes are not with our Political Structure but with people who hate each other because the Manipulative Forces in our Country are pitting us against each other for their own gains, imho.
