(14,578 posts)For Senator Cory Gardner (R) - no surprise. Before he was my Senator, he was my Representative in the US House. He's a business-owned conservative, with positions very destructive to the welfare of the American people.
But...Michael Bennet (D)???
How could you do this, Michael? How could you betray your constituents and your country by voting to fast track a bill you KNOW is going to cost hundreds of thousands of good American jobs? How could you do this?
It's just so wrong. I signed petitions. I wrote emails and I called Senator Bennet's office in DC. I know hundreds of other Coloradans did as well. And what did we get?
BETRAYED.
I guess Senator Bennet doesn't REALLY represent the people of Colorado after all...just those corporate 'people,' eh, Michael?

(17,183 posts)Both nominal Democrats. Both have heard from me and others beforehand. Maybe they'll vote against final passage. And maybe monkeys will fly out of my butt and that rainbow-farting unicorn will be delivered today.
Pretty discouraging.

Right for whom? Not 99% of the American
people, that's for sure.
It's great career advancement for Obama
and the Dems who voted for it, though.
