I am thinking, while it is historic and awesome that the confederate flag is being taken down in important places, the hate speech that helped inspire the Charleston murders, remains, as usual, untouched. FOX is a provocateur. Can they be called on it, protested, boycotted? As scheduled, they carry on with their passive sort of veiled racism. I bet right now, someone is whining about the flag, while they, of course, do not feel in any remote way,the murders have anything to to do with them.

(21,768 posts)Bill O'Reilly called out Dr. Tiller (who performed abortions) night after night on his Fox News show. He referred to him as "Tiller the Baby Killer" again and again and said he was a child murderer who must be stopped.
Predictably, one Sunday while Dr. Tiller was attending church, a Factor fan walked in with a gun and opened fire, killing Dr. Tiller.
Fox News used the exact same dodge: the gunman was a psychopath and insane, and how could O'Reilly (or Fox News) be responsible for the actions of such a "lone nut".
Watch their coverage of the AME Church shooting. Roof is always described as a psychopathic lone nut.
