Jail starves man to death, Sheriff offers apology

An incompetent jailer was punished with a severe 30 days off w/o pay.

And a Lt. got paid leave (paid vacation).

Coroner says death was caused by dehydration with a contributing factor of malnutrition. He ruled the manner of death to be natural causes.
