The TPP is a trap for the Democratic party

Third way triangulation sounds good on paper, however this is where the third way loses big. The TPP simply put runs counter to every principle of the Democratic party and probably some portions of the Republican/Libertarian platform. In short, TPP is the most anti-American idea every conceived and its sole purpose is to obliterate sovereignty. True, nationalism and isolationism can be taken too far, but the TPP represents the floodgates for corporations of the world to benefit almost all the rewards and have the backing of the U.S. government funded by taxpayers.

2. And they benefit from taking protection from workers not just of the USA but also those of poorer

countries who are co-signers. When we see the horrible conditions workers in other countries are in what we are seeing is not their government holding them slave but multi-national corporations at work. To give these corporations more power is insane.

And for what? So that 1% of our nation can make more profit? Here again, the 1% already have more profit than they could possible need. They have used their profits and power to upset the world in many ways: economically, environmentally, socially and politically.
