I'm also aware of seeing the Confederate flag on porches, trucks and bumper stickers in my area, and I live in an one that is considered quite moderized than other counties of my state.

Not a true Southerner though as I was born and raised in New England and miss it greatly.

Way too hot down here for my liking.

the flag is there to remind us of the folly of the civil war and all of that.
I want to say "Why not put it in a museum instead of flying it proudly? If I put out an ISIS flag to show the world how terrible they are, I'd get a visit from the FBI."
