I've decided to run as Republican nominee for President of the United States.

What the hell, everyone else has. Why not me?

I don't know how far my liberal views can track with the Republican base ....

but I can at least pick up 1 per cent. Matching funds?

I can be as delusional as anybody!

Will you vote for me?

I can understand why most others are running, but not him. He is an unpopular failed governor that has nothing unique to offer.

My 25-year-old, quite liberal nephew has decided to run as a Republican, and I am forced by family ties to vote for him.

Assuming that it isn't illegal because of his age.

And his current registration as a Democrat.

Besides, he promised that I can sleep over in the Lincoln Bedroom if he is elected. Beat that, and I'll consider changing my mind.

get name recognition but don't let the public actually get to know you. Put your face to a microphone as much as possible, but don't say anything your handlers haven't put before a focus group.
