it almost sounds creepy and the youngest kid is about 9 years old yet he is talking to them as if they are like 5 and under . the guy comes off as trying to imitate the fake stereotoypical perfect white family from the 50s and sounds phony and as if he is trying to hard.
<In the nearly 2-minute video released by Jindal's campaign, the kids don't show much emotion or surprise.
"Mommy and Daddy have been thinking and praying about this a lot," Jindal confides. "We're going to talk to you first and then you can't go tell your friends."
Jindal emphasizes this is not news for pals at baseball or soccer practice. And when he makes the big announcement, the kids stay completely mum. Not a word.
Mrs. Jindal prompts them to react, asking, "How do you feel about that?"
One son gives a quick two thumbs up, and their daughter shrugs.
Earlier Wednesday, the video was at the very top of the Web page announcing Jindal's candidacy. But within hours, the video became unavailable >

(51,076 posts)One of my best friends name is Bobby, my oldest sis is named Bobbi Jo. She's 84 YO
I think it strange that he picked that name though. If I remember right, (I may be mis-remembering and if I am my apologies,) is he himself picked this name. That it's not his given name

(466 posts)He chose it as a child, after Bobby on "The Brady Bunch." Lots of people choose their own names--like Caitlyn Jenner. IIRC, there was an issue in 1976 when Jimmy Carter wanted his name to appear as "Jimmy" on the ballot, and not "James Earl Carter."
Jindal is wrong on the issues, but he can identify with whatever he wants, and he can call himself whatever he wants. I would suggest that we stick with the issues and not get sidetracked with all kinds of petty little nothingness. Because it seems, you know, petty.
