(65,391 posts)civil rights movement has become so mainstream. It took a long time, too long--but at leas this fundamental right is no longer in question.
Unfortunately, though, a lot of other rights are still not enjoyed equally by LGBT citizens, so this ruling does not mean the end of the struggle.

Well, except for New Orleans. Where we got hitched. On a streetcar. I'm too tired and lazy to post it but the picture is actually linked on DU should you care to hunt...it won't have the rainbow, but you get the gist.
