It's about blaming the victims because they should have been armed, in a church yet. WTH?
Or the rebel flag is about heritage and honor or some such shit. What? Deflecting the issue of being murdered because they are Black, by defending a flag used by treasonists during our Civil War? Or Roof's supposed mental state... Making him a bad guy, so they can feel good about themselves, because they haven't murdered anyone... yet.
Anything but empathy for the victims.

A complete inversion of reality from slavery to today.

Think about this - they argue that the African race is lazy because we refuse to do free labor to enrich them. The real problem is that once the cornerstone of their ideology is removed, it will all come tumbling down - and it's about to be torn down.

I've seen a bunch of statements saying "We offer our sympathy to the victims, but we don't think the flag should come down".

I think that supporters of the confederate flag are wrong, but I don't think barefaced lies like this help.
