were with us on the issues. In a sense that is what President Obama's sermon at the funeral was all about. Calling the churches back to the real message and away from hate and greed.

I did not go to church this morning but I am certain that my church was preaching the same message.

have been wondering where those churches have been while the fundamentalists have taken over. The church I went to back then was all about equality and justice - Episcopalian.

I'm sure he and his wife will be there tonight. Their daughter went to HS with Adam Lanza. The church is very involved in the community and held prayer vigils after the horrors in 2012.

but also think for some it might be too painful although grieving with people that have suffered as the families did, maybe not.

Not a day goes by when it doesn't cross my mind.

I just can't imagine, but it's all too real.
