Never ignore any form of racism.

Apologies if this is has appeared before; I didn't find it when I searched. I don't know who this man is, or anything other than the fact that I saw it on Facebook this morning. I thought it was interesting enough to post, and to hear DU feedback. It caught my interest, because I'm the daughter of a redneck racist of the worst kind. Thankfully, he didn't raise me or spend any significant amount of time around me, so I grew up with my mom's values, not his. Still, though, the little time I did spend around him and his friends? I never would have expected to hear this.

And breaking down stereotypes is one of the healthiest things we can engage in for our national culture, imo.

I did not miss any point. He looks and sounds like a redneck and we usually think they will spout conservatism - this one is not. He's taking a liberal view.
