So do conservatives want to abolish all the gay people's marriages?

Several hundred thousand gay Americans are now married, and more will be in the coming months.

Do conservatives mean to tell us that they want a constitutional amendment to outlaw gay marriage and abolish existing gay marriages?

And how would the government dissolve almost a million marriages?

They want the nation's laws to reflect their values, whether or not they are in a majority or are consistent with the Constitution.
