except that they are no longer on the loose.

I don't know any of the details of how or why either of those two men were shot, nor does it bother me that they were. They chose their path - a path that certainly carried the risk of getting shot by police.

He is an escaped convicted murderer. You don't get a new trial on whatever it is you did, just because you happened to have escaped.

The judge and jury ruled on this guy long ago. He was at large and dangerous.

that I don't fault the cops for shooting first and asking questions later, not this time.

The picture on CNN has him looking grey and shocky but conscious.

Depending on what was shot, he could conceivably live.
