Can a postal worker refuse to deliver Ted Cruz campaign literature

All these far right whack jobs are claiming that county clerks can refuse to issue a marriage license due a gay couple because of religious freedom

Does that mean a postal worker can refuse to deliver Ted Cruz or rethug campaign materials if the think their stand on the issues violates their religion and so can't do anything to help them win an election

Federal Government because the killing of innocent children is against my religion?

Can I stop paying taxes because the police target the homeless and the mentally ill with death and lie to cover their crimes?

Those practices too are against my religion.

What next?

When I worked in a library, I had to check out books to people who had completely different beliefs then I did. For example, people would walk up to my station with a punch of pro-life books to check out and I had to check them out and tell them to have a good day as well. You can't pick and chose although you can quit the job.

Best the carrier can do is maybe let something get a little wet if it is raining.

Those folk in narrow narrow land or back then land or inquisition land are a trial to my sanity.

licenses.

But the next fight is just starting.

You see the Gay haters can still tell you no to a job or housing solely because you are Gay

No, this is not a good idea.

Nor would I want one to decide what gets delivered and what does not. There place to deliver not judge.

to prove a claim of not issueing a marriage license because of religous grounds, but they would need to get a sympathetic judge. Delivering political materials would not fall under the same law. I wonder if a mailman could make the claim of religous freedom about delivering material they claim is against their religion. I think these sorts of claims would be easy to claim, but difficult to prove.

If nobody else in the office can issue the license, the legal requirement of reasonable accommodation has been met and they must issue the license.

Reasonable accommodation is the legal standard set forth by the SCOTUS.
