Source: FTVLive
KARK (Little Rock) viewer Don Stair was seeing red when he thought that the station changed the color of their logo to the same as "The Gays."
It seems that old Don thought that KARK was showing their support for the Supreme Court's gay marriage decision and he was not happy. Even told KARK he is no longer going to watch them.
KARK tried to inform Don that the logo is the same as it always was. The channel number next to the NBC Peacock that happens to be a rainbow color.

(115,829 posts)They've used the rainbow-peacock logo since maybe the late '50s, after color TV was invented, to advertise that they were broadcasting in color. I remember some of those early broadcasts when NBC would bring up the peacock logo and an announcer would say "Brought to you in living color" or something like that.
Some 55 years later, this putz finally notices the peacock.

(182,868 posts)As you said I think they were the first in color. Almost every NBC show, especially back in the 80's, clearly went out of its way to add vibrant colors in the set and clothes.

The guy must be the only person in the world who hasn't noticed the logo in the past 60+ years.
Since ol Don is ol enough to have seen this logo constantly in the last 60 years he's just a bagger trying to create a false narrative. They love their false narratives those baggers.

(29,503 posts)this kind of hate is something we gay people deal with every single fucking day. Almost every encounter of every minute is 'colored' by this antipathy.
And why many of us who grew to adulthood fled to SF or NYC or LA, where people don't care (a double-edged sword for many, but for we who faced only the sharp edge back home, it's an improvement).
