A massive fight broke out Monday evening outside the South Carolina Statehouse in Columbia over the Confederate flag.

About 10 supporters of the flag pulled up in vehicles flying the controversial symbol just outside the capitol, where protesters have been gathered for two weeks demanding the flag be removed.

Moments later the two sides were clashing, with punches being thrown by members of both groups and the police having to separate everyone.

15. I think that back during the civil rights times there were two immovable objects challenging each

other. I do think it will get worse for a while if nothing is done. But I also think that there are diplomatic ways today that we need to use.

The immovable object today is not economic but ego. And heaven knows the ego must be fed. We need to move that flag from government grounds to someplace of their choosing such as a museum. It needs to be done in a way that they can feel we are not walking all over grandpa's grave. Let them take it down themselves and escort it to its new home.

That is my idea. Probably not going to be listened to. But a solution none the less. And hopefully done without any more lose of lives.
