Is this guy a small step in the right direction???

Not really sure what to think of this guy (Confederate Flag-Heritage Guy)

Rick Martin told The Tennessean that he drove two hours to the president's health care rally in Madison to stand up for his heritage.
"Personally, I would love to meet the man, I would love to shake his hand, say hi," Hudson explained. "Tell him thank you for the Obamacare because it allowed me to get back surgery, and it helped me out a lot. And it helped my family out a lot."

The guy's opinion on the Confederate flag is the same old tired rhetoric
But, he does seem genuinely appreciative of the President.
He also does acknowledge that Obama is Commander-in-Chief, "It would be my pleasure to meet the president of the United States," Martin explained. "I served under him in the Marine Corps."

Maybe I've just become so used to the hateful, inarticulate driven spewed at and about President Obama, that anyone who doesn't screech hatred at him about everything doesn't seem so bad
