Democratic Underground is Looking for Writers
Here's what you need to know about writing for DU:
First things first: We can't pay you. (Sorry — we have no money.)
Second: You, of course, can get credit for your writing. Or you can write anonymously. (This is Underground, after all.) If necessary, we'll edit your piece, and if we feel we've made significant changes we'll let you see it before we run it. Once we post it, we can run your piece for as long or as short as we like. You are free to post your piece elsewhere, but you MUST note that it was originally published on www.DemocraticUnderground.com first.
Third: We welcome submissions on a variety of topics, provided they promote the Democatic Party or the principles of the Democratic Party, promote left-wing policies generally, and/or simply make conservatives look foolish. (You have seen our site, you kinda know what we're looking for.)
To submit a piece, simply email it to mail@democraticunderground.com, and put "writing" in the subject. Make sure you indicate somewhere how you would like to be credited. We will use whatever name you do.
Please don't send us faxes. We don't feel like retyping everything.
