After cutting pensions and payrolls and letting people starve their choice is take more from the poor and public or get cut off altogether? What a choice.
Why is it when the wealthy and giant corporations mess up the economy the solution is always suffering for the powerless and poor?

...only stricter, forbidding the use of abusive offshore tax havens. This way, it ought to be harder for rich folks to hide their cash to dodge taxes, at least in theory. Could be quite another story in practice.
