GOP Spends Big to Test Attack Lines

New York Times: “In rooms like this one around the country, an expensive and sophisticated effort is underway to test and refine the most potent lines of attack against Mrs. Clinton, and, ultimately, to persuade Americans that she does not deserve their votes. While the general election is 16 months away, Republican groups are eager to begin building a powerful case against the woman they believe will be the Democratic nominee, and to infuse the public consciousness with those messages.”

“The effort to vilify Mrs. Clinton could ultimately cost several hundred million dollars, given the variety and volume of political organizations involved.”

'cause she is not going to be our candidate in the general election

Talk about tone deaf we have them on the left and right both.
Bernie Sanders is who I'd be worried about if I were them. Not Hillary, she's faltering as I type.

which is a psychological version of vote suppression. Basically they try to convince those most likely to align with Clinton (or any candidate) that the person is a phony.

An obvious version of this is whenever they seem to temporarily flip their position on a subject in order to attack a candidate for seeming to contradict it. For example, RW climate deniers called Al Gore a phony on climate change because "he rides on airplanes."

In this same dishonest mode, they will go after HRC's biggest strength -- her connection to female voters.

Its almost non-stop Hillary bashing. They only take a break once in awhile to bash Obama to have a bit of variety.

Its Benghazi, Clinton foundation, Emails, etc etc etc.

BTW, they love it that Bernie is making her sweat.
