I didn't know anything about Jeb or his wife: Politico article

If you lived in Florida, this was old news. But it never made it up here to me in new england.

I find it ironic that the same party that lets Trump turn mexicans into the boogieman might find themselves with the first mexican first lady. I wonder what she thinks of Trump, and if Jeb is gonna take Trump's bait? Trump obviously hasn't considered this question, but then, he doesn't care about anything.

If there really is a large segment of republican voters who agree with trump and see mexicans as the latest target for hatred (which, by the way I don't), do they know who their first lady might be?

About candidates spouses, 1st it was Bernie now Jeb I bet Hillary will not be far behind. As I have posted in other places on this site;
The only way the Republicans can win is to depress turnout and the best way to do that is to hope the campaign gets nasty, by going in the mud and bringing up issues of ones family will only backfire on any of our candidates. We have the true issues that effect the American public and nothing will make republicans happier than changing the subject and talk about the past transgressions of a spouse. Let us not be tricked into going there.
