5. Go Set a Watchman was the draft before To Kill a Mocking Bird

It was not a sequel. Clay Bennett is a great toonist but he's off on this one.

The "early draft" claim has been put forth, but it's not universally accepted.

complicated and even contradictory feelings and attitudes about racial issues. I grew up largely in the South until I was almost 13. I saw such attitudes around me all the time, especially in elderly people.
