Orangeburg Department of Public Safety officers say the man was intoxicated and “instigated a conflict with the residents,” so he was charged with public disorderly conduct ... <T>he man called police to report that residents were tearing up his flag and that some person placed it in a dumpster. According to the incident report, the man emerged from the apartment residence where he visited and spouted “multiple racist statements against the other residents at Orangeburg Manor” on Wolfe Trail. Witnesses told officers the man said, “Black people kill each other, why is it wrong when we kill a black man?” and “they killed the wrong black people, they need to kill black people like y’all” ...
