Cheney: Iran deal moves us toward nuclear war

Former Vice President Dick Cheney warned that the White House's nuclear agreement with Iran brings the world closer to a nuclear war than it’s been since the U.S. bombed Japan in World War II.

“What Obama has done is in effect sanctioned the acquisition by Iran of nuclear capability. And it can be a few years down the road, it doesn't make any difference, it's a matter of months until we're going to see a situation where other people feel they have to defend themselves by acquiring their own capability,” Cheney said Tuesday night on Fox News’s “Hannity.”

“And that will in fact I think put us closer to use — actual use — of nuclear weapons than we've been at any time since Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II.”

2. Can somebody answer these 2 questions please..

1. Why would this treaty cause nuclear war, but doing nothing (which would still allow Iran to develop weapons) would not cause nuclear war?

2. Why have we NOT heard any democrat say... Well, if we did nothing, Iran would STILL be developing weapons, and inspectors would STILL not be allowed to investigate, and Iran would STILL be enriching plutonium, etc.

The chickenhawks want to invade. So you can take that approach and go directly to war, or you can try diplomacy and as a final option go to war. So basically the logical approach is to follow Obama's approach and use war as a last resort.

To add, it is only a bad approach IF YOU WANT TO GO TO WAR, and the both parties are the same crowd should sit back and reflect for a bit prior to cavalierly throwing out that defense.
