Why Haven't We Heard From Any Of The Other Countries That Were In And Negotiating This Iran Deal?...

We know that this was a P5 negotiation. Other countries are involved and have a stake in the outcome. Why haven't any of these other countries that had their hands in it - coming out like the President today and emphasizing how important it is and how it is better than the alternative?

We're hearing from Israel and Bebi on the negatives - but all the emphasis seems to be placed just on the U.S., President Obama and John Kerry.

It seems to me that if the other countries came out and stuck behind this deal and provided the President with some cover - that the Repugs would have to back down.

Anyone know?

There's really no debate to be had because the alternative is war....this is a good deal that prevents Iran from getting nuclear weapons. The other countries know this.

It's the warmongers in the US and Israel that are acting like babies and the media carries water for the war-hungry assholes.

So they pretend it's an Obama-Iran deal only.

Here's an example: http://www.france24.com/en/20150714-iran-historic-nuclear-deal-reached-vienna

Iran, six world powers reach 'historic' nuclear deal

Most countries acknowledge that USA did the heavy lifting on this matter, and that's only fair -- they've been doing it since 2009. But everyone pitched in, certainly.

Don't expect US press to cover how foreign press is covering their participation in this event. The GOP whining sucks all the air out of the room, anyway. Besides, everyone has their own perspective.

I don't speak Chinese, which makes it tough to search their media, but I notice their foreign minister is doing some touting in the wake of the agreement: http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/mfa_eng/zxxx_662805/t1281532.shtml

The South China Morning Post has articles up on it, too--sample: http://www.scmp.com/comment/insight-opinion/article/1839915/nuclear-deal-iran-worth-backing-despite-some-concerns

Persian media (which is heavily censored, FWIW) is, of course, touting this in a positive way--the people are very pleased. And the deal coming as we wrap up Ramadan this week is an "answered prayers" kind of vibe.

I just went thru about 20 articles and cannot even give you the list of 6 or 7 countries involved. Wanted to give you a list of articles in each country since they all have English language papers. Be assured there is a lot of comment in each country. Our media does not report. Sorry to not satisfy myself let along you.
