12 Dogs Rescued From Flooded Kennel in Ohio

Three employees and 12 dogs were rescued from the flooded Copaw Cabana Kennel in Novelty, Ohio, yesterday after a raging storm, an official told ABC News today.

“We got 2-3 inches of rain in only 45 minutes,” Russell Township Fire Department Fire Chief John Frazier said.

The firefighters waded through a couple of feet of water and found dry land in a fenced-in area on a different part of the property.

“Everybody’s safe and there were zero injuries to human or dog,” he said. “It’s a great tale to tell.”

Yay Fire Dept!!!!
