I have only been on FB for a little over a year.. never during and election cycle.. and I am shocked to see what is coming forth from some of my beloved relatives.. Its like looking into the heart of darkness.. Is this typical for Facebook during elections.. I am seriously considering signing off for a while.. Its so bizarre.. I have been hiding threads, but just the knowledge that people you loved so dearly have such a warped view of the world and scream about their freedoms while insisting others have theirs limited.. ARRRGGGGHHHHHHH I know there is no solution..just ish...

If I don't engage, those posts from my high school friends turned rabid Zionists, or my beloved cousin who is supporting Trump, don't really affect me any more than right-wing stuff I see in the media all day long.
