I hope James Holmes has to spend the rest of his life in prison, confined in a solitary confinement in Florence for 23.5 hours daily.

not that Holmes would have seen freedom anytime in his life. But there was a good case made by the lawyer for insanity.
The reason, this country has a hell of a case admitting the issues with mental health. He should get life, but life in a mental institution anyway.
