Some things just deserve to be said.

Targeting for censorship is McCarthy Era type of hit.
And yet we still see it today.
The suicide of Ms Bland in a Texas jail, I believe, was murder. Removal from society because someone didn't like something she said, some point she would have made, or how she looked, or who she aligned herself with.

I believe she was simply targeted by a bully who used his badge to prevent her from ever telling the truth of what really happened following a traffic stop.
She was silenced, censored for her voice.

Big immature bullies exist because they are allowed to, by people in power who are aligned with them.

Snakes in a pit. They find each other.
She was censored for her appearance, her voice to truth, her strength to call out the unfairness & point out the truth.
No one will ever know what took place the moments before her death.
She was censored by a bully & those who cover for each other, to keep her from speaking the truth.

The truth about racism, hate, bigotry & censoring the voices who threaten the truth of it all.

I hope our voices continue to demand fairness as authorities extract the hidden truth.
Censorship to hide their own injustice, should be never allowed to stand in any society.

1. It happens

In the rural area where I used to live, a deputy shot and killed a man simply because he (the deputy) was tired of the sheet this guy kept flinging at him. The victim was one of those weird "survivalist" or "prepper" nuts who lived in the woods, carried a pocket copy of the Constitution, and went out of his way to have confrontations with the sheriff's deputies. One day, this guy was yelling at one of the deputies, giving him the usual ration of crap, and the deputy simply shot him. There were no witnesses, and the deputy claimed self defense, but physical evidence showed the victim was unarmed, and the deputy's Jeep was between the two of them, so there was no "lunged at me with a knife" excuse. The self defense thing worked because this guy was known to engage in yelling matches and make threats against pubic officials.

2. Some cops like to use the Judge Dredd approach, where they are judge, jury, & executioner

3. Not just cops, but yes especially in this part of the ignorant world, still clinging to the KKK.

This was a hate crime & coverup.

I expect there will not be enough evidence to hold those accountable for the murder of Ms Bland.
A slap on the wrist and a statement to appease those who protest followed by "nothing to see here".

This area of the country is KKK central and it deserves a bright glaring spotlight. I hope the protests grow & it becomes known to the world how the RW bigotry disgraces our Nation.
