ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A North Carolina man who was recently in the news for surrounding his home with Confederate flags is in jail on a probation violation charge ... West allegedly failed to appear at a probation hearing last week and a judge issued an arrest warrant ... West had reportedly been serving two years of probation for a misdemeanor conviction of “assault pointing gun.” He has an Aug. 5 court appearance. West lives in a predominately black neighborhood in Rocky Mount ...
