Big box chain Costco has eliminated a dinosaur birthday cake from its bakery offerings after an Arizona mom with a vivid imagination complained that it promoted Satanism, reports The Frisky.

According to Jessica Eckerdt of Queen Creek she purchased the cake from Costco for her son’s birthday party, and after lighting the candles and preparing to sing “Happy Birthday To You” noticed that the legs and feet of the blue and green dinosaur looked like the number “666,” the Sign of the Beast.

The cake, seen above, has only three of the stylized legs which could also be mistaken for three upside-down commas.

In an email to Costco she wrote: “I was extremely shocked and upset to see a demonic symbol written clear as day on my six-year-old son’s birthday cake. What was supposed to be a whimsical dinosaur became something very distasteful. I was extremely surprised at Costco for allowing such an inappropriate joke be sold to an unsuspecting victim.”

People can see what ever they want in any image. Did you ever play "What do you see in that cloud?" when you were a kid? Everyone saw something else too.

I'd be more upset with a dino having 3 legs on one side of its body.

It is a bad design for the cake in that the legs should have claws at the end. However, I think she took the cake home and then someone else told her that the cake looks like it had the number 666. I do not see how she could have looked at the cake in the store and not noticed how it looked. Most stores ask people to look at the product they are purchasing in order to make sure they are getting what they ordered. I think this woman went to the store, looked at the cake and thought it was fine, and then brought it home and someone else looked at the cake and said "hey don't those legs look like...".
