I'm speechless. I responded on the other thread but it thankfully was closed. Most of my friends are black. Real friends like if the friend says I need a car for a week. You hand them the keys. Or when my husband died, my friends wrapped me up so I wouldn't want to die along with him.
So the only thing I can say is people who drag out the what about black on black crime on response to racism must have only a superficial connection to black folks. Their loss, truly their loss. I cannot imagine life without my black friends and family members, so when black on black crime is used as some kind of defensive response to the agony of black lives matter, I am enraged.
