Health Insurance Rewards Card

Not kidding. I got a message from my (company) health insurance ghouls. I can earn up to $300 in rewards by downloading and using the healthcare shopping app.

It's official. US Healthcare is now no different from your True Value hardware store or the Speedway fountain drinks. Except those are no charge, while my health insurance is $9500/year plus what my company pays them.

This is "the best we could do" folks.

Mine sends me some food coupons every month - but I can only use them at Walmart. No thanks.
They also want me to join the "healthy" database and enter all kinds of info about myself, and even offered to send someone to my home to assess it for possible falling hazards.

Getting more difficult to at least make an effort to keep things off a "permanent record" these days. Because they keep that stuff in case they can use it to deny care or increase premiums, IMO.
