Jordan Freiman / August 1, 2015
A rally to support the explicitly racist battle flag of a failed nation that rebelled against the United States because it wanted to continue legally treating people like property was held in Stone Mountain Park, Georgia on Saturday.
By all accounts it was a rousing success. Hundreds of people came out to support their incorrect understanding of a backwards heritage and bloody war. It was probably thanks to the polite rules that were established beforehand:
These rules are simple logical and easy to follow!
2.) NO alcohol, we do know its illegal and that will be opportunity for tickets/arrests
3.) NO taunting other vehicles, flipping other people off during the ride
4.) NO burning any flags of any type regardless of which flag
5.) STAY peaceful, which means NO violence
Remember there will be people everywhere! Possibly media and cameras, ONE piece of negativity and that will be what goes Viral and that is what we will be remembered for. This is to show our support BC we care about where we live and grew up, lets keep this Clean and Peaceful! Absolutely ZERO tolerance on these rules, if you dont think you can follow dont show up. There will be plenty others there who can follow the rules. See yall there, thank you and God Bless!
If you actually have to write out that people shouldnt use racial slurs and put it as your first rule, I think you know you have a problem. You are fully aware that people like this are going to show up:

Another argument between confederates and non-confederates seemed about to erupt into a scuffle, but police intervened there also, and nothing happened. Reportedly, no arrests whatsoever were made

(4) The confederate flag almost completely disappeared from American life from the end of the Civil War to the end of WWII, when white supremacists began waving it furiously as a symbol of their opposition to the African-American civil rights movement
it's difficult to imagine how a large mob waving confederate rally flags at Stone Mountain could intend anything other than the glorification of a racist society and a racist ideology
