It was a casual aside during an interview, but it could haunt Jeb Bush in a general election in which womens votes and issues could prove pivotal.
Im not sure we need half a billion dollars for womens health issues, Mr. Bush said during an interview with a leader of the Southern Baptist Convention on Tuesday.
The assertion came in the middle of his answer to a question about defunding Planned Parenthood amid a wave of hidden-camera videos that have portrayed its employees in unflattering ways.
Mr. Bush said the federal government should stop financing the organization, and then veered off course, into a discussion of what could be done instead with its $500 million in federal funds.

That's going to leave a mark. It appears the GOP learned nothing from 2012. Republicans are on course to make 2016 once again a focal point of how they really feel about women and women's issues.

When will we stop assuming that anyone named Bush is planning on an honest campaign?

Which is about $4.17 per woman.
How can anyone justify spending $4.17 on women's health and well-being.

His campaign. Keep pissing off people, John Ellis Bush, and you won't make it out of March next year, no matter what money you spend. Fucker.
