In an interview with End Times radio broadcaster Jan Markell on Saturday, the Religious Right’s favorite Middle East “expert,” Avi Lipkin, claimed that President Obama has a secret plan to flood the country with Muslim terrorists who will then commit attacks that will push the world closer to the End Times, as American Jews are forced to either “flee to Israel” or “face death.”

“America is going to get spanked by ISIS,” Lipkin warned, “there will be terrorist attacks.” Such violence, however, may end up doing some good, he said, because it will lead to “a revival in this country in all Christian denominations.”

“And also I’m hoping the Jews will have a revival but actually I’m afraid that most Jews are going to have to flee to Israel or face death here,” Lipkin said, before returning to more encouraging news: “The Christians are going to stay here, the Christians are going to fight for their country, the pendulum will swing back to the right and America will remain the greatest country on earth if it chooses to be Christian.”

Earlier in the same interview, Lipkin shared with Markell the latest birther conspiracy theory about President Obama, this one involving a mailman.

A major feature of this is an epic apocalyptic showdown between Israel and "Gog and Magog." And for this to happen, ALL THE JEWS have to be in Israel. And so, dipshits like this guy spend a surprising amount of time pumping fundie christians up about how bad things are for Jews and how they'll all be fleeing to Israel any day now and blah blah blah.

I have noticed an increase in the Holocaust references from all quarters of late; rather creepy in my opinion. Given the state of the US, I highly doubt it would be an issue here, even among liberals and democrats. Since I have never heard of him, I googled his name and read some of his "articles" and listened, briefly, to a few of his "talks". This man is seriously deluded. I also couldn't get over the fact that at sites where he is being "praised", they constantly refer to his wife as a "Jewess." Has that term ever been a positive description of a female Jewish person?

I know of a family who followed End Times to the letter. They were told that if they join Jews for Jesus and study & practice as the Jewish people do, they would be able to use their knowledge of Christianity to then convert Jews to Christianity.
It's an odd concept but there are many who have followed that thinking and this family I knew, did just that.
They went from full cult End Timers to speaking, studying and supporting all Jewish holidays, functions, and attire, within a two week time frame.
It was the craziest thing I have seen.

Sounds like he is a lunatic. Jews will face the same anti-Semitic bullshit we always have, more if the economy tanks, but it is highly unlikely we will be "facing death" here. Looking at some of his other "musings", he seems to be engulfed in Christian mythology, especially concerning the "end times" and Satan. It almost appears as if he is carrying water for the end-timers. Very strange.

On Saturday’s edition of “Understanding the Times,” End Times radio broadcaster Jan Markell spoke to Avi Lipkin, the far-right conspiracy theorist who believes that President Obama is working for Saudi Arabia and the Illuminati to bring 100 million Muslims to America and to spark nuclear war. Thanks to such incredible insights, Lipkin has now emerged as the preferred Middle East expert among Religious Right activists like Markell, who asked him about his meeting with a former postman of Bill Ayers’ parents.

This postman told the birther website WorldNetDaily that the parents of Bill Ayers, the former Weather Underground member who later became a University of Illinois professor with a passing acquaintance to the future president, regularly hosted a “black foreign-exchange student” who was “from either Kenya or Indonesia” with a “strange name” back in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

“He told me he had taken the train out from Chicago and had come to thank the Ayers family personally for having helped him with his education,” the mailman recalled. “He looked right at me and told me he was going to be president of the United States…. It came across as if this young black male was telling me he was going to be president, almost as if it were the statement of a scientific fact that had already been determined, as if his being president had been already pre-arranged.”

As it turned out, Lipkin met the very same postman: “He said to me, he was there every day and he saw this black man there every day. ‘Who are you?’ ‘Oh, I am going to be president of the United States.’” Lipkin cited this postman’s story as proof that Obama is part of a greater “agenda” to “socialize America” and “make it a Muslim country.”
