He is still addressed as President Bill Clinton, isn't he?
He has a respectable birth name and though "bubba" is a common nickname in the South, it was the RW that coined the name"Bubba Clinton" in a derogatory slant for the disrespect towards every sitting Dem President. What have they called Pres Obama all these years for the same reason.
Arrogance towards the ignorant keeps the fans close by.

the RW did not refer to bubba Clinton with the same affectionate meaning as they do in the south.
It was thrown out as derogatory as in idiot, stupid, dullard, dumb. The other meaning some in this country refer to as bubbas.

It's intent was to deny him respect much the same way they continually deny respect to Pres Obama.

Just the way it was for the Clinton Presidency.
