Someone I know met Donald Trump briefly recently

I don't want to get this person in trouble professionally, as they make little enough money as it is, so I'm being purposefully vague here. Suffice it to say this person is very close to me, and was at an event where Trump flew to it in his own helicopter, stayed long enough to tell a bunch of very economically disadvantaged kids that if they worked hard enough, they would one day have their own helicopter just like he did. I don't think he convinced anyone, including himself, that anyone there except The Donald was ever going to be traveling around in their own privately chauffeured helicopter. That he came across as a total ass was obvious to everyone BUT Trump, himself.

Fear not, people, this guy will NOT be the Republican nominee. If we're VERY lucky and eat ALL our vegetables at dinner, maybe, just MAYBE, he'll mount a third party run, and hand us the White House on a silver platter, and a Senate with 55 Democratic seats as well. One can only hope.

I can't imagine all that ego in one room...

I was once in his office when he was on the phone with Jeb Bush... I could hear what he was saying, not what Jeb was saying...It was like "Look at me, i'm talking to Jeb Bush."

But I figure he won't be the nominee, though I admit I thought his comment about McCain would sink him. I also think this debate will sink him but since I was wrong before I could be wrong again.

Most will work for whoever hires them.

Trump isn't capable flying a complicated multi-million dollar machine that takes intensive study and perseverance to learn.

He's a wheeler-dealer, not someone able to lift off and land one of these wonderful machines.

Rough, but appropriate and effective justice.

All these pathetic, psychopathic klowns deserve no less.

13. 55 seats only? There are 19 seats seriously in play, and 18 of them are held by the GOP.

Flip all 18 of them, and say hello to a filibuster-proof supermajority.
