People welcoming Donald Trump as some Lord of GOP Chaos need to keep Afghanistan in mind.

Sure, you don't think Donald Trump would ever win a general election.

I never thought Rick Scott (who's prior greatest accomplishment was pleading the 5th in a deposition about Medicare fraud in his company) would be elected governor of my state. Or re-elected for that matter.

I thought Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura were novelty candidates that voters would dismiss once they actually stepped into the voters booth.

Most of us thought George W. Bush was too stupid to be elected president. (Or at the very least, enough to bring the election to a stalemate to the point the Supreme Court would step in and declare him a winner.)

I'll go on record now and say a Donald Trump presidency would most likely be the worst thing to ever happen to this country. He is not a stable man and unstable men do horrible things to countries when placed in positions of power.

It's tempting to want to see the GOP fight each other over Trump, but honestly, the sooner he's removed from any possibility of being our president, the better.

I'm sure the GOP will make him an offer he can't refuse?

So at this point I'm not sure what they can offer him.

And even if they are able to buy him off, his nut case supporters have been emboldened by what happened in the debate and they aren't about to back off.

And if the wacko demographic catches on to the fact that they have been played for suckers by the republican establishment, the whole house of cards will collapse.

Do you have to wait to worry until after he is in an actual vote. Appearing on TV shows and made for TV debates is one thing. Actually showing up in these states and trying to get voters to the caucus is another. I'll start worrying when he wins something, anything politically.

That's a much more difficult problem to solve.

Rick Scott, George Bush*, and Arnold , no second name needed, were disciplined campaigners. His floor of twenty five to thirty percent of GOP voters is also his ceiling.

The only thing he can do is ensure a victory for us in 2016.

There is no path to the nomination for him.

Let's see how successful they were. So far Donald Trump has been immune to the 'laws' that govern other politicians.
