This internecine battle between The Donald and the Republicant establishment is marvelous.

Choosing a favorite is hard. At the risk of violating Godwin's Law it is like choosing between Satan and Hitler.

I just hope this battle leaves the GOP in tatters.

more "acceptable" language, but in the end, a racist is still a racist, and a sexist, is still a sexist.

All the republican party has to do is look at itself in the mirror

.

We should not fight this, we should embrace Trumpdom as much as possible.

A schism is forming in the GOP, between the establishment and Trump. The more the establishment fights back, the more it probes that Trump is an 'outsider' and being vilified. Trump IS the base of the new GOP, one that FOX News helped to build.

If FOX News doesn't like their creation, they need to reprogram their viewers to have a more sane mind.

Unfortunately, if they try to make a quick change, they will be viewed as going liberal.

It's not the media's job to carry the GOP's water and take out Trump. They own him. It probably doesn't matter any way because if you love Trump you hate the media.

Between those who think Trump hurting the wingnut cause vs. those who think anyone who criticizes him is a RINO

They were in lockstep for him until the Kelly comments. But I'd say he still has a slight majority of the idiot base.

the moronic Trump supporters view themselves as revolutionary outsiders who are going to save the rest of the country from itself. They are impossible to reason with, it's like some sort of cult.

and not a news organization. Their attempt to take Trump down in favor of a corporate approved candidate was so blatantly obvious that millions of their viewers noticed it and criticized it on Twitter and in blogs across the Internet.

The thing I found most depressing was how MSNBC yesterday, on none of the shows, could discuss this apparent orchestration by Fox News. instead, people like Jonathan Capehart appeared to applaud Megyn Kelly and Fox for the questions they put to Trump. I was stunned about MSNBC and that not even Tweety could discuss the Fox "hit job".

Trump will stomp off in a huff when Repub voters get tired of him, and more involved as the election nears.

The real problem is that the election is still far away, and most voters are not engaged yet, or see any reason to be engaged this early. The Donald is entertaining in a way the other candidates are not, due to his complete unpredictability. He is too rich to care what anyone thinks, yet he continually craves public attention, even if it is negative attention.
