over Donald Trump and Megan Kelly & FAUX News. People that were big fans and defenders of Kelly & FAUX are now denounced them because they love Trump more.

The whole Trump thing has really become the cult of personality rather than any rational discourse based on issues or even ideology. Unfortunately this seems to be the state of out politics of late. Many republican friends I have are fairly moderate and even liberal on most issues. But they don't like President Obama. They don't like Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. They don't like most of the people and groups that make up the Democratic coalition (minorities, gays, women, etc.) so they are republicans instead.

6. I've been able to quarrentine myself against GD:P, which is so refreshing.

I know it has to be ugly there at times, but I want nothing of it.

Thankfully, due to Trump's Trumpiness, I think the GOP inner-strife has pretty much dominated the national headlines. Our squabbles are more of a local headache.
